The Journey
About the Zagreb to Krk Island Route
Krk is the easiest Adriatic island to reach from Zagreb: two hours down the A6 motorway through Gorski Kotar, across the elegant arches of the Krk Bridge, and you are on island time — no ferry queues, no timetables, no waiting.
Because the island is bridge-connected, a private door-to-door transfer takes you literally to the doorstep of your hotel or apartment anywhere on Krk — Krk town, Baška, Malinska, Punat, Vrbnik or Omišalj. We also regularly serve Rijeka Airport, which is in fact located on the island itself.

Along the Way
Popular Stops on This Route
Crikvenica or Novi Vinodolski
The mainland riviera just before the bridge offers a pleasant seaside coffee stop with views across to the island.
Vrbnik
On the island, the clifftop wine village of Vrbnik is a short detour rewarded with Žlahtina tastings and dramatic sea views.
Biserujka Cave
Near Rudine in the island's north, this compact show cave makes an easy, family-friendly stop en route to the beaches.
Any stop can be added to your transfer — simply mention your wishes in the booking form and your fixed quote will include them.
Why Go Private
Private Transfer vs. Bus & Train
Buses from Zagreb reach Krk town in around 3 to 4 hours and serve only the main settlements — reaching a specific resort or apartment usually means an onward taxi. With beach luggage and children, that adds up quickly.
A private transfer does the whole journey in about two hours to any address on the island, at any hour — including early flights from Rijeka Airport at Omišalj, which we time with a comfortable margin.
